Contribution terms
Version 1 · these terms apply to everything you add to Cadrame.
1. Your contributions are in the public domain. Everything you contribute (titles, names, dates, credits, summaries, tags, timed tags, sources, fingerprints and durations) is placed in the public domain under Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal. Anyone may copy, change and reuse it, for any purpose, without asking and without naming you. To the extent the law allows it, you waive your copyright and related rights, including database rights, in your contributions. This cannot be withdrawn.
2. Only add what you may give. Contribute facts you have checked and texts you wrote yourself. Do not copy summaries, taglines, biographies or other texts from other websites or databases (IMDb, TMDb, TVDB, StashDB, Wikipedia, publishers, streaming services…), and do not import their data in bulk: they cannot become CC0. Facts may be taken from anywhere; say where they come from with a source.
3. You are responsible for what you publish. Once an administrator has approved your account, your changes are published at once and reviewed afterwards; what you prepare before that is published when your account is approved, and never if it is refused. They are signed with your pseudonym and kept in the public history.
4. Never illegal content. Cadrame never catalogues child sexual abuse material, intimate videos shared without consent, or any other illegal content; it never links to them and never helps anyone find them. Legal adult content is accepted, marked as such, and never shown in the public showcase. A leaked copy may be recorded as a fact, never with an address where it can be found. An account that breaks this rule is closed and, where the law requires it, reported.
5. Respect the people you describe. Do not publish private information: home addresses, contact details, health, or anything that could identify a person who wishes to stay unknown. A civil name or a date of birth is only published after a moderator has checked its source. Tags describe what is in a video, never an opinion about it or about a person.
6. Moderation. Moderators may correct, undo or hide any contribution, write to you, and suspend an account for 1 day, 7 days or for good, with a reason you are told. Their actions are public, except the details of reports about personal data and of removals. In exceptional cases (illegal content, intimate content without consent, personal data, copyright), an administrator may erase a contribution from every revision and every archive.
7. Your account. Giving an email address is optional. It is never shown to anyone, and only used to reach you about your account and these terms. Reading Cadrame is anonymous and never recorded with your identity. You may delete your account at any time: your email address, your settings and the private record of the fingerprints you sent are erased; your contributions stay, signed “deleted account no. …”, because they are in the public domain.
8. Apps and keys. An app connected with one of your keys contributes in your name, under these terms. Revoke a key as soon as you no longer trust the app.
9. No warranty. Cadrame is run by volunteers and provided as is, without any guarantee of availability or accuracy. Its complete data is published every month, so that it outlives the project.
10. Changes to these terms. Each version of these terms is numbered and dated; Cadrame records which version you accepted and when. If a new version changes your rights, you will be asked to accept it before your next contribution. Contributions already made stay under the terms they were made under, and stay CC0 in every case.
